Dr. Roda Seseogullari-Dirihan graduated from Dicle University in 2003 and completed her PhD in Prosthodontics at Dicle University in 2010 and PhD in Restorative Dentistry at University of Turku, Finland in 2016. In 2017, she received the title of Associate Professorship in Prosthodontics. Currently, Dr. Seseogullari-Dirihan is a research fellow at Department of Biomaterials Science and Prosthodontics, School of Dentistry, University of Michigan, USA and is a university teacher of Restorative Dentistry and Cariology at Institute of Dentistry, University of Turku, Finland. Her research interests are the inhibition of dentin collagen matrix degradation by dentin proteases and regeneration mechanism of dental tissue, especially dentin/pulp complex. Recently, her research focuses on developing new multidisciplinary strategies for full regeneration of dentin/pulp complex in regenerative endodontics. Dr. Seseogullari-Dirihan’s current portfolio includes international publications, proceeding papers, seminars, international collaborations, co-leading number of projects, international awards in dentistry, national and international grants. Dr. Seseogullari-Dirihan is an active member of Adhesive Dentistry Research Group, Finland and an Ambassador of Continental European Division of International Association of Dental Research and has also international as well as national scientific association memberships (Finnish Dental Society, Academy of Dental Materials, International Association of Dental Research Continental European Division and Scandinavian Division).
